Hey! This is exactly what I needed, short and simple, thanks! I’m doing a brochure for my lake wine trail site but I don’t have InDesign so I have to make Illustrator act like a page layout program…this tutorial helps…I forgot about the ’space after’ feature.

You can complete the same task in Adobe Photoshop by selecting View - New Guide… and entering a value for either horizontal (x) or vertical (y) orientations.

This can’t be done in Photoshop, for some reason they do not let you select the guides. As far as I know only the print programs have that functionality (InDesign and Illustrator).
